'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house,
Not a creature was warm, especially my spouse;
The curtains were fluttering near the window incessantly,
with the winter wind that was blowing relentlessly;
The kids were nestled, basically buried in their beds,
The only thing that they dare to stick out were their heads;
My wife moans that the windows are so old and drafty,
I bought window film feeling smart, perhaps crafty.
We had just settled in for the long winter season,
The energy bill blows-in, a cost beyond reason;
I sprang from my desk to call the support line,
Don't they understand this is a house not a goldmine;
The lady on the phone and my wife must be scheming,
For when she says to call Ryan's my wife's eyes are beaming.
When, what to our wondering eyes should appear,
Custom made windows, and my wife gives a cheer;
The salesman blushes at my wife's overt glee,
Good thing I left the mistletoe back by the tree;
More swift than a cheetah the windows are replaced,
Windows of beauty and strength, my trust not misplaced;
The entire staff, was so full of knowledge and customer service,
I will recommend them to my friends, so they will never be nervous.
To the top of the roof I want to climb up and shout,
Call Ryan's Today, don't be stuck with that crank-out;
And then in a glance I peer into my home,
The kids are all warm, reading a tome;
As the crew loads up the trailer, I look around in fear,
It is so clean, I cannot tell that Ryan's was here;
I grab the salesman's coat, begging them all to stay,
I can't let them leave, they've made our home happy today;
The salesman stops, turns back and says with a grin,
We do insulation, roofing and siding- we'll be back again.
He sprang to his truck, and to his team he gave a call,
and away they drove with the same care as their install;
But I heard him exclaim, as they drove out of sight,
‘Save energy and cash, for the seal is airtight!"
