With Ryan Windows and Siding being Factory Certified by GAF themselves we have the opportunity to provide our Southern Minnesota customers with some special warranties. You must install a complete roof. Roofs installed on portions of buildings (such as half a roof on a duplex structure) do not qualify.
Your roof must be installed by a GAF Master Elite Roofing Contractor (Which Ryan Windows and Siding is).
The roof system must not be installed over an existing roof - all existing materials must be removed to the deck.
You must use GAF Roof Deck Protection, call for details (507-281-6363).
You must use GAF Leak Barrier in valleys and around dormers side walls, firewalls, chimneys, plumbing vents and skylights.
You must use GAF pre-cut starter strip products at the eaves. Note: To obtain maximum wind coverage, you must use eligible GAF pre-cut starter strip products at the eaves and rakes and you must install each shingle using 6 nails.
You must use a COBRA ventilation product with adequate intake ventilation, call for details (507-281-6363).
You must use eligible GAF roofing shingles
You must use GAF ridge cap shingles or shingles that correspond to the shingle product you are installing.
To improve the finished look of the roof, the use of GAF accessory paint is highly recommended (but NOT required).
New metal flashing(s) Must be installed (unless existing flashing(s) are in like-new condition or are at "unworkable" wall interfaces). Metal drip edge must be used at eaves and is recommended (but not required) at rake edges.

GAF System Plus Warranty

Get 10 times the up-front coverage of typical shingle warranties on all GAF laminated shingles. The System Plus Warranty is another warranty offered by GAF for installed roofs that meets GAF's eligibility requirements. The System Plus Limited Warranty covers all GAF products installed on your roof, except for low slope roofing. This warranty does not cover any non-GAF roof products, such as nails (contact us for details). Like all GAF warranties, the System Plus Warranty is transferrable once. If the transfer takes place during the first 20 years, the second owner shall be entitled to all benefits contained in the System Plus Warranty.

You must install qualifying GAF shingles and at least three of the following Weather Stopper product categories

D: GAF Attic Ventilation
E: GAF Ridge Cap
Ryan Windows and Siding will register your warranty before GAF's 45 day limit
